Ní ìparí ẹ̀kọ́ yìí, akẹ́kọ̀ọ́ yóò ti (By the end of the course, you should be able to) :

• Mọ Álúfábẹ̀tì (Know the alphabet)

• Ní ìmọ̀ nípa sílébù, àmì ohùn, àti ìsòrí òrò (Gain basic knowledge of Yoruba syllables, tonal marks, and parts of speech)

• Ìkíni àti bí a ṣe ń júwe ará ẹni àti ẹlòmíràn (Greet and introduce yourself and others)

• Bèère, kí o sì sọ nípa ara rẹ bí orúkọ ati bóyá o ní ìyàwó tàbí ọkọ (Ask and give personal information like name, marital status)

• Sọ nípa ibi tó ǹ ńgbé (Talk about where you live)

• Sọ nípa iṣẹ́ (Talk about jobs)

• Sọ nípa ẹbí ì rẹ (Talk about your family)

• Mò nipa mọ̀lẹ́bí àti ará ni ile Yorùbá (Understand the Yoruba family system)

• Lò ọjọ́ ọ̀sẹ̀ àti oṣù inú ọdún (Use days of the week and months of the year)

• Lò ònkà oókan si ọgọ́rùn-ún (Use numbers 1-100)

• So aago tó lù (Tell the time)

• Rà oúnjẹ (Order food)

• Dúnàá dúrà l’ọ́jà (Bargain in the market when shopping)
